ASF-UK is expanding its projects in London and we are growing our core team to help deliver our programme over the next year.
ASF-UK has grown and evolved with the support of an experienced, creative and effective team of volunteer Members and Associates. Since 2014 we have been working in partnership with Citizens UK to support London communities deliver just and equitable regeneration through our Change by Design programme.
Now entering our sixth year working in the capital, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to help plan and deliver our programme over the coming year.

New Associate position:
Associates help to develop projects and run workshops under the umbrella of ASF-UK’s aims and objectives. We are looking for an individual with experience in community-led design & planning and participatory city making to help design and deliver our programme in London.
As an Associate you will have a background in one or more of the following areas: urban planning, urban design, architecture, social development, urban studies, international development, humanitarian, education, strategic and service design, design for social innovation, public art, information/graphic design, but we welcome applications from other disciplines as well.
The Associate role covers a varied and wide-range of tasks and activities. Working closely with the other Associates in the team, you will be required to help with the preparation and implementation of learning & capacity development initiatives and live projects. Your responsibilities will include coordination with local partners, designing training sessions, facilitating workshops and writing reports and publications, as well as fundraising, event planning, advertising, and communication. You will be required to record and disseminate information to a variety of audiences, through written and visual work. Associates are asked to contribute at least 20 hours per month and you must be an existing ASF-UK Member to apply.
You will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of ASF-UKs Change by Design Programme (more info here www.asf-uk.org/programmes/change-by-design ) and preference will be given to applicants who have completed Challenging Practice Stage A.
