Already registered for Stage 1 of Challenging Practice: essentials for the social production of habitat?
If so, you can now register for Stage 2, a weekend seminar to enable participants to reflect on their knowledge from Stage 1 through case studies and facilitated discussions and interactive scenario building and role plays.
ASF-UK will host Stage 2 weekend seminars twice a year – and the first one is coming up in November:
Title: Challenging practice: Learning in action
Date: 17-18th November 2012
Location: National Council for Voluntary Organisations, London
Price: £90 if you are working/£70 if you are student or unemployed (which includes lunch, tea/coffee and biscuits)
Eligibility: Attendees should have read all module summaries in Stage 1 –and the core texts of at least 6 modules (50%).
Over the two days we will cover in depth the three key principles of engagement (participation, discrimination, and sustainable approaches), one built environment principle (eg. land tenure) and two project implementation tools (eg. theoretical frameworks and partnership) through participatory games, real-life scenarios and role play.
