Raising awareness about homelessness: Temporary Pavilion, Oxford I UK I 2008

The design brief was developed for an undergraduate design unit at Oxford Brookes University and tried to tackle the students’ often prejudiced perceptions of the homeless community in Oxford.  Through their research students realised that not only are the homeless community segregated from the rest of society, but also from each other and this became the basis for the agenda of the winning pavilion which engaged with the brief by developing an emotional ‘walk through’ pavilion which was located on site at Oxford Brookes University.
