Lucia joined ASF-UK as an Associate to support the Resilience by Design programme. The first project she co-facilitated was a workshop in Cartagena, Colombia in the summer of 2015. For the past six years Lucia has worked in London within interdisciplinary teams doing social research and practical projects on sustainable neighbourhood development and social innovation. For the past two years Lucia was working as Head of Projects at Social Life – a consultancy specialising in research and projects exploring how people are affected by changes in the built environment. She has been involved in various social enterprises and grassroots initiatives in London (UK) and also in Matera (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Cusco (Peru).
Lucia studied architecture at the Glasgow School of Art and completed a Masters in Urban Studies at the Urban Lab (University College London). Lucia is currently based between London and Lisbon where she is working with Fundo Arquitectura Social (FAS).
