ASF-UK is collaborating with SEEDS India and other partner organisations in an event which will explore the future of construction in India. about
TERRA mela is an exciting event which will explore the future of construction in India – one that meets the aspirations of modern society whilst respecting the limits of our natural world. To deliver a future that is, above all, safe and sustainable. TERRA mela will demonstrate how a blend of indigenous knowledge and contemporary innovations has delivered technologies that are truly aspirational, cost effective and replicable.
There will be opportunities to put your hands in the mud and feel the origin and destination of all things; with building workshops, live demonstrations, quick impact talks, brainstorming sessions, policy discussions and of course lots of fun.
TERRA mela is designed to be a catalyst for fresh thinking; bringing together leaders in the fields of sustainable construction technologies, disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA).
The event will be broadcast globally using web and social media based tools.
