Upcoming: 2nd Stage Workshop in Colombia September 1, 2015
We are excited to announce the second stage of our partnership with FEM, ASOCOC and the Resilience by Design programme in Cartagena, Colombia! In the next weeks, Lucía Caistor Arendal , ASF-UK associate, and Isis Nunez Ferrera, Research Fellow at University of Westminster and ASF-UK associate, will be taking part in an interdisciplinary workshop to support two more communities in developing resilient strategies within the framework of a Territorial Management Plan (PAT). The workshop will be focused on the Island of Tierra Bomba, located in front of the coast of Cartagena. They will work with 25 experts, ranging from environmental engineers, architects, agricultural entrepreneurs, geographers and sociologists, to develop the different components of the PAT and the short, medium and long term strategies for implementation. The workshop is also supported by University of Westminster who is joining the partnership through research support.
