Ten years since the Challenging Practice programme was first launched, ASF-UK is partnering with Sheffield Hallam University to evaluate the course and explore how it might evolve in the future.

The outcomes of the process will be presented at the UIA World Congress of Architects 2023 on 2nd July, where ASF-UK will be convening the session ‘Architecture in the Context of Inequality: 10 Years of Challenging Practice’ with ASF-International – and at the next AAE Conference Productive-Disruptive hosted by the Welsh School of Architecture on 12th–15th July. Please join us if you are around!

In the meantime we have also refreshed the Challenging Practice website to include updated information about the course and a second edition of our Handbook, now available for free download. Please visit our website for more information.

The next Challenging Practice Stage A seminar will be a special edition developed in collaboration with the Inclusion by Design team. It will be held in the Autumn with the exact dates to be announced soon.
