Join ASF-UK and guests in an exploration of initiatives in architecture and urban design which enable appropriate longer-term approaches to the reception of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in cities.

The event is part of the Designing Inclusion (DESINC) project, which addresses the interface between architecture, urban and planning education, and the production of inclusive urban spaces. The project is a collaboration between three schools of architecture (University of Sheffield, UK; Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium; and Politecnico di Milano, Italy) and two international civil society organisations (Housing Europe and ASF – International). This event will start with the official UK launch of several reports from the DESINC project which will be followed by a round table discussion between a panel of international experts and the audience.

This will be a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of the role that the built environment plays in facilitating reception and inclusion and to network with others interested in this field. We look forward to seeing you there!

This event is part of the London Festival of Architecture.
