Project Title: Development of Settlement Profiles and Community Action Area Plans using Change By Design
ASF-UK has been working with the Sierra Leone Urban Research Centre (SLURC) to develop inclusive and socially equitable approaches to improving Freetown’s informal settlements using the ASF-UK Change by Design Methodology.
Our work in Freetown started in 2017 with a Participatory Planning and Design workshop. This initial engagement prompted a long term facilitation and creation of Community Action Area Plans in Cockle Bay and Dworzark that took place over 8 months.
