If you're interested in community-led design and planning and want to use your experience and skills to create fairer cities, apply to join our team and become an ASF-UK Associate!
Our Associates are the life force of ASF-UK, carrying out partnerships, programmes, and projects on behalf of the organisation, with the support of Senior Associates and the Management Team. Work is carried out either on a volunteer or freelance basis, depending on project and specific tasks.
What we offer
We provide new Associates with a one-day induction programme, a buddy system, networking opportunities with a diverse range of like-minded individuals, and the chance to collaborate on specific projects to deliver social impact.
What we require
We require time commitment that is project-based and ad-hoc, in controlled blocks of time with clear timeframes and deliverables, as agreed with the Management Team.
Typical tasks
Typical tasks include the preparation, co-facilitation, and documentation of participatory design and planning workshops; the development of outputs, for instance through drawing, writing and copy editing; and support on communication such as our website and social media.
Timeframe
Associate agreements last for two years, with individuals supported to evaluate their experience of collaborating with ASF-UK on an annual basis.
